Umpires
Who can register to be an umpire?
Anyone age 13+ with a passion for baseball or softball is welcome! No prior experience is necessary—we’ll provide training.
Prior Experience
Do I need any previous umpiring experience?
Nope! We welcome beginners and provide training and mentorship to help you feel confident on the field.
Equipment
What equipment do I need?
We provide basic umpire gear, including masks, chest protectors, and indicators. If you have your own equipment, you're welcome to use it.
Compensation
Will I be paid for umpiring?
Yes! Umpires are paid per game. Rates vary by division and experience.
Availability
What happens if I can’t make a scheduled game?
Please notify us as soon as possible so we can find a replacement. We understand conflicts come up and appreciate communication.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Example: Club jerseys are required and may be purchased at TJ Sporting Goods.
Extra Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
