Military and First Responder Dependent Scholarship
Greetings Military Veterans and First Responders,
The Chippewa Valley Patriots, a parent-led organization that includes several proud military veterans and first responders, are deeply committed to supporting families who serve or have served in the armed forces. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by military and first responder families, we established a scholarship program to help ease the financial burden of youth sports participation. By offering scholarships specifically for military or first responder -dependent youth involved in baseball and fast-pitch softball, the CV Patriots aim to foster a strong sense of community, promote healthy activity, and ensure every child has the opportunity to compete, grow, and thrive on and off the field—regardless of their family's financial situation.
The scholarship covers the full or partial registration fees for eligible players in the Chippewa Valley area, making it easier for military and first responder families to enroll their children in local leagues. Applications are simple and confidential, and priority is given to those demonstrating financial need or whose parents are actively deployed or have recently transitioned out of service. This initiative reflects the Patriots’ broader mission of service, inclusion, and local support—honoring the sacrifices of military and first responder families by helping their children build confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships through sports.
There are a select number of scholarships available each season. To apply select the 'Scholarship Application' button to fill out and submit your application.
Sincerely,
CV Patriots
